Welcome to Bass-n-Tubes

Bass-n-Tubes is a northern California Float Tube, Kickboat, and Kayak Bass fishing club. We welcome anglers of any skill level and all ages to come on out and join the fun of our low keyed, low cost style of Bass fishing and tournament angling.

2016 News

July 16-17, 2016 - CA Delta, "Dan's Delta Outdoors Open" at Piper Point Marina.

Twenty Six guys made it out to the California Delta for the 'Dan's Delta Outdoors' Delta Open at Piper Point Marina on July 16th and 17th.

Check in took place at Dan's Delta Outdoors in Oakley on Saturday, with some dogs on the grill and a free raffle for the participants, then the anglers made their way to the marina to get set for some afternoon and evening action on the delta.

Day one was a 'sundowner' and started at 3pm when "Go Fish" was called, weigh in would be at 9pm.
Dave Monteiro had the bag to beat on day 1 with five fish for 14.47 pounds. Dave's day one bag was topped off with a 7.08 pound kicker.
Close behind, with a solid limit of five fish, was Taylor Capilla with 14.24 pounds.
Third at the scale for day one was Scott Rouhier with 13.35 pounds for his best five.
Rounding out the top four was Max Krieg who weighed in five fish for 12.24 pounds.
The day one big fish money was won by Scott Bernardo. Scott got a fat 7.73 pound fatty to eat his bait.

Day two was to be a 'sunrise' day starting at 6am with a 12 noon weigh in.
Max Kreig came to the scale with a limit of 13.28 pounds to add to his day one weight. Max anchored his day two limit with the day two big fish, a nice 5.09 pounder, for a two day total weight of 25.52 pounds.

Taking the second spot was Dave Monteiro. Dave finished day two with five fish for 9.38 pounds and a two day total of 23.35 pounds. Dave reported getting most of his bites on a Senko.
Finishing in third place was Jeff Wilson. Jeff weighed in a nice day two limit of 13.43 pounds
to end up with a two day total of 22.64 pounds.
Taylor Capilla would end his weekend with four fish on day two for 8.15 pounds. Taylor's two day total weight was 22.39 pounds giving him the fourth place prize.
Taking the final paying spot, in fifth place, was Dan Balaba. Dan weighed in a limit for 12.35 pounds adding to his 9.94 pounds from day one. Dan's total weight was 22.29 pounds.

Topper De La Rosa was first out of the money with 16.74 pounds and won a new fishing rod, donated by Dan's Delta Outdoors.
